WHAT ARE WE HIRING FOR?

We’re seeking a meticulous and forward-thinking Finance Reporting Manager to lead the UK and overseas financial reporting processes and controls. This role is key to delivering accurate, timely financial insights that inform executive decisions and support compliance across the business.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Ownership of the revenue reconciliation and accrued revenue calculations
• Own payroll transaction recording and reconciliation including performing bonus and commission calculations
• Calculate accrual and ensure complete cost recording
• Performing capitalisation calculation and ensuring compliance with accounting standards
• Liaising closely with the shared service centre for accounts payable and accounts receivable team
• Review of purchase orders
• Complete and review balance sheet reconciliation across UK and overseas entities
• Complete all month end tasks and prepare variance analysis
• Review reporting from overseas accountants and ensure transaction correctly processed within the ledger including IFRS accounting adjustments
• Preparation of UK Statutory accounts and tagging of accounts
• Complete relevant business surveys
• Liaise with external auditors to ensure compliance and timeliness
• Drive improvements in reporting systems and streamline processes
• Develop and maintain control environment
• Collaborate and partner with other departments to align reporting with financial requirements e.g. payroll and sales
• Assist with ad-hoc technical accounting matters as required

WHO YOU ARE:

You have/are

• Audit background (ideally in a Big 4 Audit Firm)
• Industry experience in financial accounting team
• Confident using accounting systems such as Sage X3
• A hands-on attitude is essential, with a willingness to be involved in all accounting matters
• Proactive, self – starter, with attention to detail
• Strong analytical, report writing and communication skills.
• Able to interact and communicate with finance and non-finance colleagues
• A team player with well-developed interpersonal skills, able to promote good team working and co-operation
• Must be able to manage your own time and be a highly-organised individual
• Enthusiastic and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Professional work ethic
• A desire to join a growing listed UK FTSE Group
