We are seeking a Finanace Officertojoin our team at Broadmere Primary School, part of Bourne Education Trust.

Broadmere School, located in Woking's vibrant Sheerwater community, is a one-form entry primary school for children aged 2-11. We work closely with New Monument School, sharing a senior leadership team to ensure cohesive and high-quality education.

Details

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: 36 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. (Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 3:00 pm)

Key responsibilities include:
  • Ensure financial probity in all activities and support other staff to ensure that financial procedures are appropriately followed in relation to authorisation and approval
  • Ensure the Bourne Education Trust Financial Management Manual is adhered to at all times
  • Support the Business Manager with the preparation of year end documentation and in readiness for audits, with reports for the governing body and any other data or reporting requirements as requested by the Business Manager, SLT or the central BET Team
Requirements include:
  • An awareness, understanding and commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children
  • Minimum 2 Years of finance work experience
  • Proven track record of continuous professional development
