Field Installation and Service Engineer – Midlands (Flexible)

Halomec is a UK based company, founded in 2006, dedicated to helping business managers improve the productivity of their mobile plant and equipment.

Halomec distributes industry-leading brands; SKF/Lincoln automatic lubrication solutions and Loadrite weighing and productivity measurement solutions, throughout the UK.

Primary Responsibilities

• Installation of Lincoln Automatic Lubrication Systems on heavy plant

Secondary Responsibilities

• Field Service of lubrication systems
• Installation of Loadrite Weighing Systems
• Calibration and operator training on weighing systems

Nature of Work

• Home-based covering Central England with occasional requirement to cover other UK areas, with nights away from home
• Very occasional weekend work (paid at x1.5)
• Knowledge of heavy plant, how to manoeuvre it safely and the industries it operates in
• Fitting experience
• Ability to problem solve and work on own initiative
• Good communicator with positive attitude
• Team player
• Full UK driving licence
• Home based – Central UK

Desirable (but not essential) Requirements

• Experience of automatic lubrication system installation/service (full training will be given)
• Experience of Quarry Industry
• Good specification company van
• Company pension
• Starting Salary £33,000 - £36,000 p.a. rising to £45,000- £50,000 on completion of all training (Annual Bonus – Company performance related). Dependent on experience.
