A leading care organization based in Exeter is seeking a Female Support Worker to provide care for adults with complex disabilities. The role involves supporting clients in their daily lives, attending appointments, and engaging in community activities. Sense is looking for a reliable Female Support Worker (Driver) to join our warm and welcoming team in Exeter, working 35 hours per week for £12.50 per hour. This role is an opportunity to be part of a community that puts people first, values inclusion, and celebrates every individual’s unique voice.

You’ll be supporting adults who are deafblind or have complex disabilities to live full and active lives. Once daily routines are completed, you will support them to access the world around them, whether that’s attending appointments, joining community activities, or simply enjoying a day out. You’ll be a familiar and friendly face, helping to create safe, enjoyable and meaningful experiences, both inside and outside of their home.
You’ll also work closely with our dedicated support staff, helping with day-to-day support and contributing to the smooth running of our service. Your role will be vital in reducing isolation and promoting independence for the people we support.

If you’re new to support work or haven’t worked in a care setting before, we’ll provide full training and ongoing support to help you thrive. What matters most is your attitude and your willingness to make a difference.
A full, clean UK Driving License is required for this role.
This role in Exeter includes: Supporting people in all aspects of their lives, including personal care, moving and handling, mealtime support, involvement in support planning, ensuring all documentation is up to date, and ensuring people are engaged, happy and safe at all times.
