We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician tosupport the Facilities Manager in looking after the building and grounds atCornwallis Academy, New Line Learning Academy and Tiger Primary School. Youwill be responsible for a wide range of duties including maintenance,cleanliness and security of the school building and grounds.

Our core operations run Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 10:00pm,with additional lettings taking place at weekends. This structure gives us realflexibility to shape the role around the right person.

Responsibilities of the post holder are notlimited to, but will include:
  • Regularmaintenance of the site ensuring it remains clean and accessible at alltimes.
  • Unlockingthe premises in advance of the school day and securing the premises at theend of the day.
  • Carryout day to day repairs / maintenance of the buildings
  • Bepart of the alarm callout rota as required, so access to a vehicle ifessential
  • Assistwith events and general running of the schools
  • Inconjunction with the Facilities Manager organise external contractors toundertake maintenance work that cannot be carried out in-house.

You Will be a responsible individual who takes pride inyour day-to-day work. You will be very pro‑active in attending to the needs ofthe school to ensure everything runs smoothly andbe able to provideexcellent customer service skills as well as having an awareness of health andsafety issues. A good understanding of plumbing, electrical systems and DIYwould be desirable.
