A leading engineering firm is seeking a skilled Estimator to join their team at the Devonport Royal Dockyard in the UK. The ideal candidate will be responsible for turning complex engineering data into accurate cost estimates for the Royal Navy's submarine fleet. This full-time role provides hybrid working arrangements and requires strong skills in cost analysis and project environment knowledge. Applicants should possess relevant experience and qualifications, including A-Levels in a STEM subject.

As an Estimator, you’ll turn complex engineering data into clear, dependable cost estimates that shape bids, enable delivery and keep critical defence assets available for the nation. You’ll collaborate with Engineers, Project Managers and customers across submarine maintenance, repair and overhaul projects - work that advances your skills, grows your career and contributes to national security.
Day-to-day, you’ll compile detailed cost estimates in support of submarine platform maintenance, repair and overhaul projects.
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the office/onsite and 3 days working from home.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
