Join our team today.Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for an **Engineering Designer**. **Responsibilities*** Develops fire system designs, including fire sprinkler layout, pipe routing, hanger placement, hydraulic calculations, and other fire system design related tasks.* Performs the production of supporting documents, files, and services for fire system designs.* Assists in the selection of appropriate equipment and methods for incorporation into system design.* Analyzes building plans, project specifications, building type to identify design requirements.* Confirms the design criteria (hazard) required for the design.* Performs the hydraulic analysis and or technical calculations needed to complete design.* Participates in production tracking program as directed and administered by management.* Utilizes the best practices and requirements to optimize fabrication data.* Leads and teaches the adoption of cutting-edge software platforms and tools.**Qualifications*** Engineering design experience & certification preferred* 5 years of Fire Sprinkler design experience preferred* NICET Certification Preferred**#li-remote**At Ferguson, we care for each other.
