Qualifications

Infrastructure Core Products (ICP) - Global Network Services (GNS) is responsible for the engineering, development, and operation of Deutsche Bank’s group-wide network for all areas. GNS supports all aspects of network infrastructure in over 2500 offices in 50 countries.

You will be responsible for complex network deployments while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless delivery and high network availability. The individual should not only be technically sound but also passionate about innovation, continuous learning, and driving meaningful change.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Planning, designing, and executing deployment of network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems across multiple sites
  • Designing and implementing Infrastructure as Code solutions using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
  • Collaborating with operations and engineering teams to improve network design, optimise performance, and reduce latency
  • Automating deployment and monitoring tasks using scripting and configuration management tools
  • Analysing current network deployments and proposing improvements for scalability, security, and efficiency
  • Influencing technical direction by identifying trends and recommending innovative solutions and architectures
Your Skills And Experience
  • Experience with working in a corporate global network environment, ideally with financial institutions
  • Understanding of networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, STP, VXLAN, etc.)
  • Experience with hardware from Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Fortinet or equivalent
  • Proficiency in network automation tools and scripting languages like YAML, JSON, or Python and version control systems, preferably Git
  • Exposure to Infrastructure as Code or keenness to learn it
  • Experience in Agile or DevOps‑oriented environments
