A prominent NHS Trust in Greater London is looking for a motivated Band 7 Emergency Nurse Practitioner. This role involves managing patient care for minor injuries and illnesses, with a strong emphasis on quality improvement and teamwork. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, and relevant qualifications, and bring extensive experience in emergency care settings. The position offers a competitive salary between £53,751 to £60,651 annually and supports personal development in a dynamic hospital environment.
The expectations within this job description will be met through professional leadership, clinical management, hands on clinical practice, education and training, and research. Duties of the Post: the post of a qualified nurse is characterised by six principle role functions: Clinical Practice, Advanced Clinical skills, Professional leadership and management, Education training and development, Evaluation of care and research, Human Resources. The balance between practice and management will vary according to day to day priorities, but will be negotiated overall with the Lead Nurse / Senior Nurse.
Rotational working cross site is expected. Base predominantly at St Helier Hospital.
We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic band 7 Emergency Nurse Practitioner with proven specialist knowledge and skills. The successful candidate will bring a positive attitude to the Trust and have a flexible approach to working, with excellent communication and organisational skills. He/she will join a supportive team committed to ensuring quality patient care whilst achieving the Clinical Quality Indicators and other national targets. The role complements an existing Nurse Practitioner team.
Accountable for the total episode of care for patients presenting with minor injuries and illnesses, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, referral or discharge. Commitment to quality improvement within Emergency Care is expected. Personal development will be supported.
