Electrical Shift Engineer | Commercial Maintenance (FM) | Data Centre Environment | 48‑55k + Package | Shift – Days & Nights

We are actively recruiting for Electrical Shift Engineers to work within a top-of-the-range data centre environment in Longcross, Surrey. As the Electrical Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and remedial works.

As an Electrical Shift Engineer / Shift Electrician / Maintenance Electrician, the equipment you will be maintaining and duties may include: electrical fault finding, wiring, cabling, sockets, circuits, lighting (emergency, lamps, ballasts, decorative, security etc), power supplies to HVAC / Building services equipment, induction motors, fire alarm testing, electrical components within HVAC / Building services equipment, low voltage switching, UPS (uninterruptible power supply) systems, high voltage switching, 1st line faults and PPMs to HVAC equipment (AHUs, FCUs, pumps, CRAC units etc).

Employment Package

• Base Salary: 48,000 - 50,000
• Bonus: 1,500 annually
• Allowances: 3,000 AP allowance once HVAP is attained.
• Hours: 4 on, 4 off - days and nights (7am-7pm / 7pm-7am)
• Company funded training, courses and development, ie: HVAP, LVAP, H&S, IPAF, IOS&H similar courses + pay allowances for gaining AP status.

Requirements

• Must be a qualified Electrician.
• Must have experience working within commercial environments / with commercial systems or in a maintenance based position.
• Highly desirable but not essential: Critical environment experience / critical systems experience, ie: high voltage switching, high voltage transformers, UPS, CRAC units etc.
• Highly desirable but not essential: Current HVAP / LVAP status.
