Overview

About The Role

There are two Electrical Engineer positions available. As the electrical engineer you will be joining a robust and professional team of electrical engineers working in the residential social housing sector responsible for cyclical replacement of electrical services to a building stock of approx. 2,500 residential block buildings to over 30,000 dwellings and homes. You will join a team of highly skilled Building Services professionals. You must be computer literate and have experience in producing technical reports that can be shared with the wider team. You must have experience working in electrical contracting or consultancy demonstrating skill and knowledge relevant to the electrical social housing sector. Selection by interview and test.

About the Role

  1. As an Electrical Engineer, you’ll play a key role in leading on the delivery of a wide range of cyclical replacement electrical projects across our residential social housing stock, which includes approx. 2,500 block buildings and over 30,000 dwellings.
  2. Projects include:
  • Emergency Lighting Systems
  • Door Entry Installations
  • CCTV & Security Infrastructure
  • Lateral Supplies
  • Electrical Mains Distribution
  • Column Estate Lighting

You’ll work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance. You’ll also contribute to the development of a five-year asset management and capital improvement plan through proactive asset data gathering.

  • Significant experience in the electrical technical industry, particularly within contracting or consultancy

  • Solid understanding of electrical regulations and standards
