Job description

Working hours: 20 per week

Salary: £13.42 per hour. Premium paid for hours worked between 7pm - 10pm, and 10pm - 6am.

As an Operations Support Agent, you will:

  • Work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to strict timelines.
  • Answer incoming calls from customers regarding collection requests and delivery queries.
  • Sort and allocate premium and distance deliveries.
  • Check and investigate failed deliveries/collections when needed.
  • Prioritize and re-allocate failures for next-day delivery as required.
  • Input data into our tracking system.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with the team, managers, and other depots.
  • Follow FedEx processes, procedures, controls, and external regulatory requirements.

You will also support your supervisor and team members as needed, ensuring the safe and secure movement of all freight, and providing high-quality customer service to ensure customers' urgent packages arrive on time.
