Bakery Assistant Day Shift - Stephens Bakery

Hours: 39 hours per week
Days: 5 days from 7 each week
Shift Times: 06:00am – 14:30
Starting Pay: £12.24 per hour

About the Role

As a Bakery Assistant in our Confectionery day shift team, you’ll help craft the confectionery goods our customers love, to the highest standards of quality, food safety and consistency - think iced dough-rings, cupcakes and iced biscuits. Everything we make is for our customers, so you’ll be part of a team that truly puts Customer First. What You’ll Do

• Always working safely and responsibly in line with all Stephens' policies, procedures and health & safety legislation
• Dipping dough-rings by hand, ensuring an even, high quality, consistent finish
• Icing cupcakes and biscuits with care and consistency for a professional look to bring smiles to our customers
• Pipe jam with precision, making sure every product is perfectly fille, every time
• Placing decorative cake toppers by hand, adding the finishing touches that make our products stand out
• Cleaning production and packing areas to maintain excellent hygiene standards
