Job summary

A leading children's care provider in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking a Deputy Manager to support daily operations at an Ofsted-regulated residential children's home. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in residential childcare, strong supervisory skills, and a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or be working towards it). Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential childcare.
  • Experience in a supervisory capacity.
  • Full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months (or willingness to obtain with support).

Responsibilities

  • Support with managing operations and supervising staff.
  • Maintain and check casework records.
  • Play an active role in case conferences and care planning.
  • Work shifts on a rota, including evenings and weekends.
