World Services partners with governments, civil society, foundations, academia, and the private sector to work on critical issues including national security, social justice and conflict prevention.

About the Role

In this role, you’ll oversee the day-to-day running of the technically enabled design and post-production studio, balancing people, projects, and process to deliver exceptional creative work at pace. You’ll focus on craft and creative excellence while also managing workflow, resourcing, and future readiness. You will work closely with the Global Head of Production, Production Directors and Design Director to make the studio world-class in culture and capability.

What you'll do
  • A solutions-focused leader who can manage the daily operations of the design and post-production studio, ensuring smooth workflow across all creative projects.
  • Oversee resource planning and allocation: plan complex workflows, spot bottlenecks before they happen, reshuffle resources, onboard freelancers at the right moment, or reassign priorities to prevent crises, while communicating clearly with all team members to maintain morale.
  • Help to build a unified Post-Production and Design team enabling clear cross-team communications and strong team culture.
  • Ensure briefs are clear, deadlines are realistic, and team members are properly briefed and supported.
  • Know project statuses at all times; prevent resource clashes; ensure on-time delivery.
  • Attend and lead daily team workflow status calls.
  • Top-level communicator — able to work with Business Directors and Production Directors to balance capacity, workflow, and timelines across multiple projects.
  • Maintain the highest standards of creative output by supporting teams with smart structure and clear communication.
  • Implement and refine studio systems, tools, and processes to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Champion innovation — from new workflows and technologies to emerging design practices.
  • Be responsible for the financial tracking and accountability of resources spend on items such as stock imagery and footage, as well as third-party suppliers and freelancers.
  • Help to build and protect studio culture: positivity, inclusivity, collaboration, creative and technical confidence.
About you

You’re an experienced Studio Manager who thrives in fast-paced creative environments. You’re comfortable overseeing studio operations across video, design, motion and digital work, and coordinating teams across multiple global offices. You bring structure, clarity and momentum to the studio by building efficient ways of working while keeping teams motivated, supported and proud of the work they deliver.

What you'll bring
  • Proactive self-starter with good sense of urgency.
  • Motivated by technology and innovation. Has well developed AI literacy and skills in the production of video production and design work.
  • Exceptional project and asset management skills with very strong attention to detail.
  • Strength in managing a complex, rapid and high-volume workload and keeping designers, producers, editors, creatives and full teams on track with delivery.
  • High levels of maturity and emotional intelligence.
  • Capability, experience and aptitude to work in matrix management set up, ensuring all stakeholders are engaged effectively and supported.
  • Skill capability in areas of post-production and design, able to pick up delivery of elements of the workflow at busy times to a standard of global agency best practice.
  • In short: you love process and you’re brilliant with people!
