A leading online gifting company is seeking a Principal Commercial Analyst to lead commercial analytics for the UK business. This role involves developing insights on trading performance, working closely with senior leaders, and managing a small team of analysts. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in e-commerce analytics, a strong grounding in SQL and Python, and excellent analytical and communication skills. Principal Commercial Analyst – You’ll be the senior individual contributor setting the standard for commercial analytics across our UK business. The role provides the business with rapid, reliable and insight-led understanding of UK trading performance and the commercial levers behind it.
You’ll own the analytical view of UK performance for the most important forums, including daily trading updates, monthly business reviews, and budget and reforecast cycles. You’ll work closely with the UK General Manager and senior commercial leaders to shape how performance, risks and opportunities are understood, discussed and acted upon. This is a highly influential role with direct impact on commercial decision‑making, investment choices and growth opportunities. You’ll lead on key UK commercial questions while coordinating and coaching a small team of analysts to meet high standards.
