Job Description

We have an opportunity for a BMS Projects Engineer to join us at Honeywell in the North East and surrounding areas. You will work closely with customers to understand their requirements and design customized BMS solutions that optimize building performance and energy efficiency. This field‑based role involves travelling across the region and occasionally further as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the input of various key internal and external stakeholders, including ownership of any subcontract designs (e.g. Panels)
• Implement and complete the design of projects with the customer using skills and knowledge within BMS & control systems, HVAC control, integration, and applications
• Work closely with the Project Manager assisting with the production and coordination of the engineering / design submittal to include Equipment Schedule & Schematics, I/O data point List, Device / Wiring Layout Drawings and Installation/Commissioning
• Develop and submit both FAT and SAT documentation to customer approval
• Compile Training Handover Documentation for each project

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a project engineering capacity involved in the delivery of technology based projects ideally within Building Management Systems
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work cooperatively and provide technical direction in a team environment with a strong commitment to safety and a safe working environment
• Strong computer skills to include Microsoft office products
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and projects site as part of the role
