The Opportunity

SAFC is seeking a skilled Commercial Plumbing and Heating Engineer with proven experience in commercial settings. You will carry out small installations and project works, contributing to the ongoing improvement and maintenance of our facilities. Your expertise will include inspecting and testing mechanical systems, such as Temperature Control Valves (TMVs) and legionella compliance, ensuring all systems adhere to regulatory standards.

As part of the maintenance team, you will participate in the reactive call‑out rota and assist with general maintenance tasks as needed. Keeping accurate records of your work is essential, and you will liaise effectively with fellow maintenance staff, management, and external contractors to ensure seamless operations. You will also manage and support contractors while following the Club’s security, stock control, and key holder procedures. A strong understanding of our Health & Safety Policy is vital, along with excellent organisational and communication skills.
