A leading insurance company in London is seeking an Underwriting Quality and Governance Analyst to support their underwriting management function. This position requires a strong background in underwriting operations and governance, as well as excellent analytical skills. This role would suit someone already working in underwriting operations, governance, or quality assurance who is looking for a company move and a step up. It would also suit an experienced underwriter who wants to move into an operational or governance‑focused role, with greater exposure to oversight, reporting, and regulatory activity.
You’ll support the Lloyd’s underwriting management function, helping ensure underwriting controls, governance, and oversight processes are effective and well evidenced. Reporting to the Underwriting Quality Assurance Manager, you’ll focus on underwriting quality reporting, oversight activity, and regulatory returns. The role is highly data‑driven and detail‑focused, with responsibility for pulling together management and governance packs, tracking quality outcomes, and supporting the integration of Lloyd’s underwriting processes into Aviva frameworks.
