As a Duty Manager, you’ll play a hands‑on leadership role in ensuring the smooth running of our busy late‑night bar. You’ll oversee the team on shift, manage customer experience, and keep operations running safely and efficiently in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment.
Shift Leadership– Take responsibility for the bar and floor team during your shift, ensuring excellent service, a lively atmosphere, and smooth operations into the early hours.
Customer Experience– Lead by example on the floor, engaging with guests, resolving issues quickly, and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment.
Team Management– Motivate, brief, and support the team throughout the shift, keeping morale high and performance consistent.
Operational Control– Oversee tills, stock levels, and compliance with licensing laws and safety procedures.
Problem Solving– Respond calmly and effectively to unexpected challenges, from staffing gaps to customer incidents.
End‑of‑Night Duties– Handle cashing up, reporting, and venue close‑down procedures with accuracy and accountability.
Experience in a supervisory or duty management role within hospitality, ideally in a late‑night or high‑volume environment.
Strong people management skills with the ability to lead by example.
Confidence in handling challenging situations and making quick decisions under pressure.
Good working knowledge of licensing regulations, health & safety, and security practices.
A passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
