Responsibilities

• Claim warranty work using manufacturer systems.
• Liaise daily with departmental managers.
• Prepare invoices and obtain payment as per procedures.
• Maintain customer and boat details database.

Marine Service Advisor

We are looking for a Marine Service Advisor with previous experience in the yachting industry and a proven ability to advise clients on the best solutions for boat repair, maintenance, and retrofitting.

The ideal candidate should have:

• Deliver excellent customer service skills
• Have a can-do attitude
• Demonstrated sales and advisory skills, with the ability to guide clients toward the most suitable solutions for their boat’s maintenance and repairs.
• A flexible approach
• Proven experience working effectively as part of a successful, collaborative team

Key responsibilities will include:

• Ensure all work is communicated to both retail customers and internal departments in a timely manner.
• Provide customer/Internal department estimates according to company policy schedules, time, and pricing.
• To ensure all completed work is invoiced within 24 hours of completion.
• To use manufacturer systems to claim any warranty work for the Princess and Argo brands.
• To liaise with departmental managers daily.
• Prepare and present invoices and obtain payment in line with company procedures.
• Maintain and update database with boat and customer details.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations in accordance with company policy.
