The Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Team is advising the business on how to comply with applicable law and how to deliver and implement best practice. It’s up to us to be the ‘danger experts’ and HPP’s conscience: always reviewing the latest technology & processes to keep our people safe and enable them to succeed and never be afraid to speak up when things could go wrong.
We can offer you the opportunity to work and learn within a small team, spanning all areas and a multitude of processes across the company. You will champion specific health, safety, and environmental processes with the support of a mentor. You will be expected to research and provide advice within projects process and worker issues. You will assist the department by taking full ownership of dedicated tasks and processes. You will support the Senior Management Team with the collation of data which will be centric to project delivery and company achievement to targets.
As a team we pride ourselves on sharing knowledge and developing our graduates supported by our mentoring program. You will have exposure to all departments and areas within the business. You will be expected to troubleshoot, propose, and deliver appropriate, value-added solutions within demanding deadlines. You will be expected to keep yourself fully informed on identified HSE topics. You will be asked to successfully complete identified training courses and pass the NEBOSH General Certificate examination upon successful completion of your probation period.
