A distinguished educational institution in Oxford is seeking an inspirational flute teacher to join its music team from April 2026. The teacher will be responsible for instructing a select group of pupils, designing individualized curriculums tailored to their needs, and fostering a love of music. Candidates must be dedicated to student progress and have a passion for music education. This role provides a unique opportunity in a new state-of-the-art music facility.
Radley College is looking for a dedicated, experienced, and inspirational flute teacher to join a distinguished team of woodwind teachers, to teach 8 pupils from April 2026. There is also the opportunity for additional ensemble coaching if desired.
As well as knowledge of teaching strategies, teaching repertoire and adaptability to the individual, the successful applicant will show an active interest and insight into current instrumental teaching, research and development, and in pursuing their own professional development as an instrumental teacher. Most importantly, they will be committed to ensuring every boy makes progress and develops a love of music, whether they are a beginner or a musician with many years’ experience.

In January 2026, a major new music school building opened with a 300-seat concert hall, more intimate recital room, music recording studio, Song Room, four classrooms, and more than 20 dedicated teaching and practice rooms. With unprecedented numbers of boys having instrumental lessons, it is an exciting time to join the Radley College music team.
