Education Improvement Service Development Officer

Salary: £40,777 - £44,075 per annum (G08)

Work base: Colwyn Bay/Various/Hybrid

Conwy's Education Service is seeking an Education Improvement Service Development Officer to undertake an essential role in supporting and ensuring the best quality of education for all children and young people in Conwy.

This role will enhance Education Services during an exciting period of transformation and development by managing key operational aspects of statutory and non‑statutory education services and providing support services to schools and governing bodies within Conwy.

To be successful in this role, you will possess the skills and expertise to lead on and support key areas of the Education Improvement Service including (but not limited to): service development, support with curriculum delivery, school admissions and support for governance. You will be able to manage and lead initiatives, projects and work streams as directed by Senior officers. The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable for this post.

You will be well supported by a dynamic and forward‑thinking team whilst having the ability to lead projects and develop initiatives yourself from inception to implementation. You will work with a wide range of partners and stakeholders and will be required to prepare and present information as part of your role.
