About the Role

The Devon Safeguarding Adults Service receives and responds to safeguarding adult referrals across the county, working to protect adults at risk and promote safe, person-centered outcomes.

Role

We are seeking an experienced Team Manager with exceptional expertise in safeguarding adults practice to support the continuous development of the service. You will work alongside a team of Social Care Assessors, Social Workers, Advanced Practitioners, and Team Managers, providing leadership, oversight, and professional guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and operational management within the Safeguarding Adults Service
• Oversee and quality assure safeguarding adults practice and decision-making
• Support continuous service development and improvement
• Provide professional supervision, advice, and guidance to staff
• Manage workload expectations autonomously and adapt at pace
• Ensure safeguarding referrals are responded to effectively and within required timescales
