Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Waste Collector located in Manchester. The Waste Collector is responsible for collecting and transporting waste materials to designated disposal or recycling facilities. Daily tasks involve working as part of a team to follow assigned routes, handle waste equipment safely, and ensure compliance with local regulations and environmental standards. The role may also involve the maintenance and cleaning of collection vehicles and equipment.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely collect, sort, and transport waste materials
• Familiarity with the handling and operation of waste management equipment
• Basic understanding of health and safety practices in waste collection
• Good teamwork skills and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues
