A healthcare service provider is looking for a full-time NMC registered Ophthalmology Lead Nurse in Guernsey. Qualifications

  • 5+ years of post-registration experience required.
  • 3 years as a band 6 in an Ophthalmology setting preferred.
  • Willingness to develop skills in OCT interpretation and intra-vitreal injections.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the ophthalmology nursing department.
  • Support the clinical support staff in the team.
  • Seek innovative opportunities to improve processes and systems.
  • Provide consultation ophthalmic scans and investigations.
  • Contribute toward the strategic direction of the MSG.
