A community-focused housing provider in Braintree is looking for an experienced Senior Surveyor to lead a dedicated team in maintaining accurate asset data and driving performance towards strategic objectives. This role involves overseeing critical surveying tasks, managing insurance claims, and ensuring high standards of team performance. Ideal candidates will possess proven surveying expertise and strong leadership skills, along with a HNC/HND in Building Surveying and a valid UK driving license. Are you an experienced Senior Surveyor who's passionate about maintaining accurate asset data and leading a high-performing team? Eastlight, a prominent player in social housing, is seeking a skilled Senior Surveyor to not only drive the accuracy of our asset data but also to inspire and manage a dedicated team. Your leadership will ensure that we make effective investments in our residential and broader property assets, directly contributing to the achievement of our company targets and our mission of providing quality homes and nurturing communities.
As a Senior Surveyor, you’ll lead from the front, overseeing essential surveying tasks including stock condition assessments, damp and mould surveys, structural surveys, and Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS) evaluations. Beyond your technical expertise, you'll be responsible for managing and motivating your team to achieve collective goals, ensuring that our property asset data remains accurate and reliable, and empowering the team to meet the company's ambitious targets.
This role demands a strong leader with the ability to communicate vision, provide guidance, and ensure high standards of delivery.
