Norbar Torque Tools, a world leading specialist in torque control equipment based in Banbury, is looking for a CNC Machinist Apprentice to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands on experience with high precision machinery, learn from industry experts, and work towards recognised engineering qualifications.

Who we’re looking for:
  • A genuine interest in engineering and manufacturing.
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem solving.
  • Enthusiasm to learn, develop new skills, and grow within a supportive team.
  • A minimum of Grade 4 GCSEs in English, Maths and Science
  • Reliable, punctual with commitment to complete apprenticeship across 48 month programme.
What you will do:
  • Learn to operate, set, and program CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machinery.
  • Work with high precision tools, equipment, and modern manufacturing technologies.
  • Learn to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications.
  • Collaborate with experienced engineers, machinists, and technicians.
  • Spend 2 days per week at Warwickshire College working towards a Level 3 Manufacturing Support Technician qualification.
