Job Title: Production Inspector
Location: Oldham, OL2 6LH
Hours: Full Time

The Role:

Due to progressive growth, opportunities have become available for new CNC machining operatives to join our team. In this strategically important and challenging role you will be required to:

• Set up and run Conventional, semi‑CNC and fully automated CNC machines
• Machine products for both production and research and development purposes
• Have experience in the machining of different types of material
• Use Haas and XYZ controls effectively
• Use setup sheets and drawings to machine various parts to a high level of accuracy, to tight deadlines with minimum supervision
• Measure all the parts machined to drawings
• Work a single shift pattern: Monday – Thursday 0800‑1630 and Friday 0800‑1530

The Person:

The successful candidate will already understand the processes involved in high‑quality, high‑volume manufacturing. Applicants should therefore possess the following attributes:

• Reliability, trustworthiness and a strong work ethic
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and have good manual dexterity
• Must be a team player with a "Can Do" attitude
• Experience within the field of production/mechanical engineering would be beneficial but not essential
• Must be flexible in approach, willing to take on other tasks and be responsive to changing demands and situations
