A leading infrastructure company in the UK seeks a Site Engineer to support project delivery and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. The role involves leading teams, conducting site inspections, and maintaining high standards of health and safety. Ideal candidates should have experience in overhead line construction and relevant engineering qualifications. This position requires frequent travel across the UK, and the jobholder must demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills.

Site Manager
The Site Engineer will be responsible for supporting the Site Manager/Project Engineer through tendering, planning, developing and delivering Overhead Line projects ensuring the highest standards of health & safety, environmental and quality whilst ensuring productivity is achieved at all times.
The jobholder will be working on site full time as part of an experienced construction team setting to work and leading overhead line teams and subcontractors to meet project objectives. They will be expected to travel to various site locations throughout the UK.

The jobholder will be responsible for the safety of themselves and colleagues, and act as ambassador for a strong safety culture within Omexom. This role can be challenging, and therefore the jobholder will be required to respond quickly to changing situations. At Omexom we aim to provide the best possible service to our customers. In addition, the role will involve working outdoors in a site environment in all weather conditions.
The jobholder must have experience of working in the overhead line construction industry and possess a strong understanding of health, safety, environment and quality aspects and have a sound technical knowledge, as well as:

This is a flexible based role with frequent travel and overnight stays as required on projects.
