An established community-focused organization is seeking Level 1 qualified swimming teachers to deliver engaging swimming lessons for learners of all ages. Swimming is a vital life skill, and we are looking for Level 1 qualified teachers to join us, helping to ensure that lessons are available for learners of all ages and abilities across our community.
We also provide support those who wish to progress to their Level 2 qualification.
Current Shifts Available:
Saturdays
08:00-11:45(3.75 hours) -Active Living Centre
11:30-15:15(3.75 hours) -Active Living Centre
Sundays
08:00-11:15(3.25 hours) -Active Living Centre
11:00-14:15(3.25 hours) -Active Living Centre

Our swimming teachers are pivotal members of the team, delivering and maintaining effective and high-quality swimming lessons for children, young people, and adults, as part of our Integrated Swimming Programme, which is run at both the Regional Pool & Tennis Centre (located in Newport International Sports Village) and the Active Living Centre (located in Newport High School).
This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and is subject to a successful Disclosing and Barring Service (DBS) check.
