A leading transportation systems company is looking for a Train System Engineer in East Midlands, UK. You'll define and ensure the performance of the Traction chain within the Train System architecture, manage technical requirements, and lead integration tasks. Salary: circa £53,000 DOE plus bonus and excellent benefits

The Train System Engineer will define and deliver the Traction chain scope within the Train System architecture, ensuring operability, performance, and compliance with functional and safety requirements. This includes specifying system functions, managing requirements, and supporting verification and validation activities to demonstrate that the solution meets all applicable standards. The Train System Engineer will lead technical studies and integration tasks to achieve performance targets and deliver all associated technical outputs.
