Job summary

A leading care provider is seeking a caring and compassionate Health Care Assistant at Hamilton Springs care home. You will support adults living with complex care needs and help them live their best lives. Responsibilities include personal care and assisting at meal times, with ample opportunity for training and development. No two days will ever be the same, but your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• supporting people with their personal care
• assisting people at meal times
• understanding individual health and wellbeing needs
• encouraging and supporting people to take part in social activities, both in and out of the home
• promoting choice, dignity, independence and respect
• completing and maintaining care records

Hamilton Springs is a short drive from major roads including the A638/Doncaster Road, A628 Cross Hill and A635/Doncaster Road.

It’s close to the junction where Westfield Lane meets Broad Lane, nearby the Junction Pub.

There are limited parking spaces in the home’s car park. Street parking is available in the surrounding area.

The home is a short walk from several bus stops.

• Westfield Lane Central Avenue bus stop, which is accessed by bus 485.
• Broad Lane Beech St bus stop, which is accessed by bus 485.
• There's also a train station in the local area.
• South Elmsall - 1 mile away (16 minute walk).
