We’re looking for an experienced grower with strong horticultural and people skills to join our team at Growing Well West Cumbria.
You will deliver therapeutic field-based horticulture activities for adults experiencing mental ill health within a busy commercial market garden growing environment.
Working alongside our team of Activity Leads and Mental Health Support Coordinator, you’ll support individual, goals-based pathways to recovery through horticulture.
You’ll deliver seasonal skills training (with a focus on heritage growing), contribute to crop planning and production, and record beneficiaries’ progress on our bespoke database.
You’ll also help ensure the site is safe, productive and well run, whilst contributing to our respectful and inclusive team culture.
