Job summary

A construction and renewable energy firm in Liverpool is seeking a Construction Project Planner to oversee project timelines and deliverables. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in complex project planning, familiarity with NEC contract requirements, and a degree in construction or project management. Responsibilities include developing detailed project plans, monitoring schedules, and ensuring compliance with contractual commitments. This role requires strong analytical and coordination skills and offers a dynamic work environment.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience as a planner in complex projects.
  • Proven experience managing risk processes and risk registers.
  • High level of proficiency in MS Project and MS Office programmes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed plans for all project phases.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual and project requirements.
  • Monitor project schedules and identify key milestones.
  • Maintain risk registers for all projects.
  • Produce planning reports for management meetings.

Skills

Familiarity with NEC contract requirements
5+ years' experience in construction/renewable energy planning
Managing risk processes
Advanced knowledge of MS Project
Strong coordination skills
Ability to work to deadlines
Degree in construction management or project management
High level of proficiency in MS Office
Numerical and analytical skills
Good communication skills
Basic knowledge of HSSE requirements
Full UK Driving license
