Job summary

A leading construction firm in the UK is looking for a Senior Planner to manage the Planning and Programming function for key bids. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in construction or civil engineering, with experience in creating and administering construction schedules. Strong communication skills and proficiency in planning tools like P6 and Asta Powerproject are essential. Qualifications

• Operational experience in planning Civil / Infrastructure / Structure projects.
• Proficiency in planning techniques and required toolsets.
• In-depth understanding of Planning requirements of JCT and NEC forms of Contract.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Planning and Programming function in key bids.
• Lead the planning function on selected projects producing achievable programmes.
• Communicate effectively with key project members throughout various phases.

Excellent communication skills

Ability to deal with clients and internal staff

Excellent organisational and planning skills

Education

Relevant experience in the construction industry

Recognised Construction or technical discipline qualifications
