Qualifications

  • Ensure the availability of clean linen and towels.
  • Maintain accurate linen stock levels.
  • Receive and verify linen deliveries.
  • Sort and prepare used linen for laundry.
  • Maintain an organized linen room.
  • Adhere to hygiene and safety standards.
  • Respond to guest linen requests professionally.
  • Collaborate with Housekeeping and Laundry teams.

The Role

The Linen Porter is responsible for ensuring that the housekeeping and food & beverage departments are consistently supplied with high-quality linen and terry products. This role plays a vital part in maintaining smooth hotel operations by managing linen distribution, stock control, and maintaining cleanliness and order within the linen room.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the impeccable availability of clean linen and towels for Housekeeping and F&B operations
  • Maintain accurate linen stock levels and proactively report shortages
  • Receive, inspect, and verify linen deliveries to uphold quality standards
  • Oversee the correct sorting and preparation of used linen for laundry collection
  • Maintain an immaculately organised and well-presented linen room
  • Adhere strictly to hygiene, health, and safety standards at all times
  • Respond to guest linen requests with discretion, efficiency, and professionalism
  • Collaborate seamlessly with Housekeeping, Laundry, and F&B teams
  • Identify and report damaged linen, maintenance, or safety concerns promptly
  • Uphold company policies and luxury service standards consistently
