An educational institution is seeking a qualified Behaviour Support Worker to provide specialist educational support to children with social and emotional needs. We are seeking a suitably experienced and qualified individual to become a behaviour support worker for a Primary GROW provision to work with children with social and emotional wellbeing needs.
The provision will be based in the Primary GROW enhanced provision centre in the grounds of Monkwick Junior School in Colchester.
GROW for primary aged children is a well‑established enhanced provision across 3 quadrants in Essex. More information about GROW can be found at www.growessex.uk.
GROW is an alternative education provision based on Trauma Perceptive Practice through 6 Core Strengths. It is aimed at students who are experiencing barriers to their learning under the SEMH umbrella. It will provide each child with a personalised curriculum for their individual needs, which will be monitored and reviewed carefully.

This post is offered on a 39‑week contract plus 5 non‑pupil days, during term time only.
