Administrative & Home Support Assistant

Fairmile Grange Care Home, Christchurch, Dorset – 16 hours per week (2 days, 9am–5pm) | £13.36 per hour

Responsibilities

We’re looking for a skilled Administrative & Home Support Assistant to join our friendly team at our 80‑bed care home in Christchurch. This role is ideal for someone who loves accuracy, structure, and variety in their day — strong administrative ability is essential.

  • Managing key administrative tasks—data entry, filing, scheduling, and reporting
  • Working confidently with IT systems (emails, digital records, databases)
  • Maintaining accurate records with excellent attention to detail
  • Supporting the team with day‑to‑day admin needs
  • Providing a welcoming presence on reception when needed— greeting visitors, answering calls, and handling basic enquiries
About you
  • Have solid administrative experience and enjoy detail‑focused work
  • Are confident with IT and learning new systems quickly
  • Are organised, dependable, and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Have great communication and people skills
  • Can provide a warm welcome to residents, families, and visitors when covering reception
Hours & Pay
  • 16 hours per week
  • Two days a week: 9am–5pm
  • £13.36 per hour
