Job summary

A leading supported living provider is seeking a Project Worker in Leigh on Sea. This role involves assessing customer needs, supporting daily living activities, and fostering social inclusion for young people. The ideal candidate will have experience in working with vulnerable populations and possess strong interpersonal skills. An NVQ3 in Health & Social Care is preferred. Additional benefits include generous paid holidays, a pension scheme, and opportunities for training and development.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience of working with vulnerable people.
  • A positive approach to working with young people who have a range of needs.
  • Good interpersonal and customer care skills with an approachable attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Assessing the needs of customers by writing support plans.
  • Supporting customers with daily living tasks.
  • Assisting customers with finances and welfare benefits.
  • Encouraging social inclusion and building confidence.

Skills

Experience with vulnerable people
Interpersonal and customer care skills
Knowledge of action/support planning
Ability to work independently
Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills

Education

NVQ3 in Health & Social Care or willingness to work towards
