You will align the people strategy with commercial objectives in a volatile market.**Main responsibilities*** **Strategic Advisory**: Act as a trusted partner to Senior Traders and Heads of Desk, providing data-driven insights to influence business decisions, workforce planning, and organizational design.* **Organizational Development:** Lead initiatives in organizational design, workforce planning, and cultural transformation to improve efficiency.* **Talent & Succession Planning:** Drive talent management strategies, including identifying high-potential employees and establishing robust succession plans.* **Risk & Compliance Management**: Partner with Legal and Compliance to mitigate people-related risks, including conduct, regulatory changes, and employee relations in highly regulated environments.* **Data-Driven Insights:** Leverage HR analytics and workforce metrics to identify trends, pre-empt future challenges, and measure program effectiveness.* **Coaching & Leadership:** Coach senior leaders to enhance their people management capabilities and mentor junior members of the HR team.* **HR Project Leadership**: lead in the implementation of specific projects, procedures and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the organisation.**Experience required**The ideal candidate will be a highly credible individual with a proven track record in developing, managing and implementing HR strategies across a range of business areas.Deep understanding of the commodity lifecycle, trading P&L, risk management (VaR, hedging), and the impact of global events on market volatility.They will have a broad range of HR experience and will be happy to do a mix of operational and strategic work.**Technical requirements*** Educated to degree level or equivalent professional qualification* Experience of utilising HR systems (Workday)* Strong understanding of employment law.* High level of proficiency in digital HR tools**Person specification*** Excellent verbal and written communication skills* Excellent advisory skills, with the ability to manage all levels of stakeholders, including commercial employees* High level influencing skills and ability to build relationships* Proactive and diligent, with excellent attention to detail* Autonomous and highly organised, with good prioritisation skills.* Excellent analytical skills* ResilienceWe are committed to equipping our employees with the tools that will enable them to fulfil their job to the highest standard.
