Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid nursing license to practice.
• 12 months NHS (UK) hospital experience as a scrub nurse, preferably in ophthalmology.
• Knowledge of sterile techniques and operating theatre protocols.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating theatre for ophthalmic surgeries.
• Assist the ophthalmic surgeon during surgical procedures.
• Count and document surgical instruments before and after procedures.
• Support post-operative patient care.
