Job Title: Business Development Consultant

Pay: Up to £39,829 depending on experience and qualifications.

Hours: 37 hours per week

What we are looking for

To become a Business Development Consultant in our Solutions department, we need someone skilled in communication, networking, and sales strategies, as well as being proactive and adaptable. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to acquire new skills and develop abilities across a wide range of activities. This position is based cross-campus; applicants must be prepared to travel to our campuses and surrounding areas as required.

What you’ll be doing

For a detailed list of day-to-day responsibilities, refer to the key roles and accountabilities section on the Job Description. In summary, with relevant qualification and/or substantive experience, you will support in many aspects. To name a few:

  • Produce detailed and accurate organisational and training needs analyses to inform and facilitate effective delivery for employers and solutions.
  • Produce training proposals offering cost-effective solutions to meet employers’ needs and deliver financial viability for the College.
  • Facilitate negotiations with employers regarding costs and fees within agreed guidelines.
