A veterinary services provider in Bradley Stoke is looking for a People Services Administrator. This permanent role involves administering HR processes throughout the colleague lifecycle, including onboarding new starters, producing employment contracts, and maintaining people systems. The ideal candidate will have strong administration and customer service skills, as well as experience in HR or shared services. A CIPD qualification is preferred. We are excited to be recruiting for a People Services Administratoron a permanentbasis to be part ofourPeople Servicesteam; a centralisedfunctionoffering HR administration support to colleagues and managersinour practices across the UK in all aspects of the colleague journey. Service delivery sits at the heart of the people team.
You willbe responsibleforadministering a variety of HR processes in the colleague lifecycle,includingthe effective onboarding of our new starters,producingand sending employment contracts, updating our people systems, and providing managers with guidance and support of the onboarding process.You’llalsoassistwith a variety of otherHR administrativetasks suchassupporting withcontractchanges,providing references, supporting the administration of some of our benefitsand collating HR data.
You’llreport to the People Services OperationsManager and will work closely with the talent team and with our managers across the business.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
Use our integrated people systems (Lever,Dayforceand Zendesk) to produceaccurateemployment contracts
Send contracts to our managers and candidates for signature
Liaise with managersand talent partnerson contract queries
Keep our people systems updated withaccuratecolleague information
Administer a variety of colleague processes and benefits such as references andour cycle to work scheme
Work within a small team to track and manage case volumes
Share insights and opportunities for continuous improvement with the wider team
Administration experience in a fast-paced environment
Strong customer service mindset, ensuring a professional, supportive, andpragmaticapproach
Team player able to collaborateconfidentlywith stakeholders
Excellent IT skills and proficient in the use of Microsoft packages Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Able to communicate effectively- written and verbal, and have a good telephone manner
Organised and able to prioritise own workload effectively
Ability to adapt, reprioritise and thrive in a constantly changing environment
Delivery-focused and capable of operating to deadlines
Experience of working in an HR or shared servicefunction
CIPD level 3 or above, or working towardsa qualification
Experience of using Dayforce and Zendesk, andother HR / People systems
Experience of working with onboarding processes
