Job summary

A community support organization in the UK is looking for a Community Occupational Therapy Assistant to join their Very Seriously Injured Community Team. In this role, you will deliver Occupational Therapy-related interventions under supervision and provide holistic support to veterans with complex health needs. You should have relevant experience, effective communication skills, and a strong commitment to making a difference. This position offers a hybrid working model and generous benefits including 29 days' leave, health scheme, and a pension plan.

Qualifications

  • At least two years’ experience supporting OT interventions or in a related clinical or rehabilitation setting.
  • Confident working autonomously in the community with remote professional support.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence and are eligible for DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Occupational Therapy interventions under supervision.
  • Support assessments and interventions collaboratively.
  • Liaise with statutory and charitable services for veterans' support.

Education

NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care
