Salary: Grade 5 FTE £25,583 - £26,403
Actual Salary: £22,004 - £22,710
We are seeking to appoint a professional, enthusiastic, and motivated Administration Assistant. The postholder will be based in our Main Office providing efficient, effective and professional administration support.
The post is an intrinsic part of our supportive administration service, and we are delighted to be able to offer an opportunity for someone to join our team. The post holder will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have experience in carrying out administration processes. They will be professional and forward thinking and be able to bring new initiatives and ideas to the role. The successful applicant will have an inclusive approach to their work and be able to adapt to suit a range of stakeholders.
The Administration Assistant will be in regular contact with students, staff and families as well as the wider local community. An understanding of the need for confidentiality is essential, as is the ability to deal with a range of demands with tact and diplomacy. The post holder will provide First Aid support to students and staff and will oversee the administration of medications within the school. The post holder will also oversee the Free School Meals administration, so accuracy and attention to detail will be required.
This is a varied role within our busy School office, and the successful applicant will be expected to prioritise their workload effectively and work in a professional manner at all times. The successful applicant will have high expectations of themselves and others, promoting a positive attitude and taking pride in their work and professional credibility.
