Job summary

A leading health and social care charity is seeking a flexible Female Bank Support Worker to join their team in Dollar, Scotland. The ideal candidate will assist individuals with learning disabilities and mental health challenges in daily living, enhancing their independence and confidence. Responsibilities include medication administration, encouraging social activities, and providing emotional support. If this sounds like you, we are now recruiting for a flexible Bank/Casual Support Worker to expand our team in Dollar.

At our Dollar service in Clackmannanshire, we support 4 fun and outgoing individuals to live in their own flats in a shared building. The people we support have faced a lot of challenges in the past because of their learning disabilities, mental health and previous trauma and are looking for friendly, caring and supportive people to help them build confidence and improve their independent living skills so they get the most from life!

The people we support enjoy a wide range of different activities, like socialising, going to the movies, shopping, making TikToks, watching and playing football, cinema, walking, playing games and having barbecues in their shared garden. They’re looking for positive and patient people who can support them to try new activities and help them achieve their goals, which include going to college and finding a job.

Our staff team are very experienced and also support with:

  • Medication administration
  • Cooking
  • Encouraging the people we support to clean and maintain their homes and manage their finances
  • Social situations and responding to situations in a trauma‑informed way

We are currently recruiting for a Female Bank Support Worker to join our team.

We provide support 24 hours a day, so we ask for some flexibility to work a variety of shifts including day shifts, back shifts, waking nights and sleepovers, with some weekend work included.

Shift Patterns are currently:

  • 0900-2100
  • 0900- Sleepover finishing at 9am
  • 0900-1800
  • 0800-2000
  • 2000-0800 Nightshift
  • 1100-2200
