A healthcare provider in Lewes is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Triage Nurse role in their Urgent Treatment Centre. Are you an experienced Registered Nurse with a background in urgent/emergency care triage? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our amiable and professional nursing and medical team at the Lewes Urgent Treatment Centre!
Our Centre is dedicated to providing urgent and unscheduled care to the Lewes community and surrounding areas, operating from 08:00 to 20:00 hours, seven days a week.
This is a particularly thrilling time to become a part of our team. We have established an Urgent and Emergency Clinical Reference Group to explore innovative ways to enhance our staffing models, clinical pathways, training, and supervision. This initiative aims to ensure all our staff are well-supported and equipped to deliver the highest quality of care.
As a Triage Nurse at the Lewes Urgent Treatment Centre, you will:

Working in the Urgent Treatment Centre, you will Triage assess and prioritise patients presenting to the unit whilst ensuring safe, efficient, and effective treatment of all patients within a predefined target time of arrival.
You will demonstrate a calm and confident approach to your work demonstrating excellent nursing and communication skills and the ability to manage and prioritise workloads effectively.
