Job summary

A healthcare provider in Gorleston is seeking a Care Support Worker to assist service users with personal care and to promote their independence. Ideal candidates will possess a passion for providing excellent care and demonstrate strong communication skills. This role requires working as part of a team to build relationships with service users and to participate in well-being activities. The position is offered at £13.31 per hour with enhancements and may include training and career progression opportunities.

Care Support Worker – Gorleston
£13.31 per hour (Days) + enhancements
30.25 hours per week + opportunity for additional hours
Shift Patterns:07.00-14.30 /14.30-22.00/ 07.00-20.00
Monday - Sunday.

A day in the life:

As a Care Support Worker you will assist with personal care and support tasks, enabling our service users to make informed choices, promoting their independence and dignity in line with their person-centred care plan.

Working as part of a team, you will build strong relationships with your colleagues and the service users, participating and supporting with wellbeing events and activities, and helping to promote a safe and engaging environment.

Responding to call bells and emergencies in a timely manner and communicating with other medical professionals and community stakeholders as required.

About Lydia Eva:

Lydia Eva Court is our modern purpose-built care home in Gorleston, near the East Norfolk coast. The home provides short-term and full-time care and support, specialising in care and support for people living with dementia.
